March 2009. Well, it’s been quite an experience having completed out first year in business. Overall, it was a big success. We had overwhelming support from the local community as well as the travelers through the area. Our thanks to all of you!
We’ve learned a lot so far; mostly from trial and error, but we’re still going strong. We ran out of a few wines that were very popular, but we are happy to report that they are back. We now have some of our original wines available again.
Back by popular demand are:
- Bigfoot Shadows

- Wildcat White
- Big Bend Blush
- Bull Hill Blush
Along with the old favorites, here are some new wines that we think will be just as popular:
- Fawnd Memories
- Jubilee
- Bluebeary
- Rascal Red
Check out the products page on this site for details about each wine.
We had a good time at the Pennsylvania State Farm Show Wine Competition, where we won four medals this year out of the six wines we entered. We won a silver medal for Bigfoot Shadows, a bronze each for Willow Bay White, Riesling and Mountain Apple.
This is the second year in a row that the Riesling and Mountain Apple won a bronze at this show. Stop in for a tasting, we’re sure you’ll like them too!
October 2008. It’s hard to believe that it’s been one year already. Come help us celebrate on November 1 and 2. There will be refreshments and munchies available. We will also be giving away door prizes and doing winery tours for those who are interested.
A lot of you have admired and commented on the artwork here at the winery, so we’ve asked the artist Kelly Hunt to be here on November 1. She will be available all day to take custom orders for anything you may want painted. She can paint wine glasses, mirrors, mailboxes… probably just about anything you can think of.
So bring your items and come on down and talk to her.
It should be a fun day, so mark your calendars! Come join us.
